Job Description

Main Job Duties:

  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
  • Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
  • Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
  • Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends & recommending benefit programs to management.
  • Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
  • Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
  • Maintains human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Supervise and follow up on the recruitment process progress.
  • Meet managers to determine staffing needs to develop the Annual Manpower Plan.
  • Prepare and issue the offer letter for the accepted candidates.
  • Conduct exit interviews for the resigned employees.
  • Participate in the design, development and implementation of innovative workforce retention programs.
  • Supervise designing and updating the Organization Charts and Job Descriptions of the Company.
  • Identify promotional / career development opportunities for staff and provide them with an adequate career advice.
  • Manage Succession Planning process to ensure back-up for key positions.
  • Assist the Department Heads in developing and implementing their annual objectives.
  • Lead HR-related projects.
  • Update company policies & ensuring proper implementation.
  • Manage the employee surveys.
  • Manage the Performance Management Process and reviewing the annual performance appraisals organization wide in accordance to Performance Management Policy.
  • Handle disagreements between the employees and their supervisors regarding annual performance appraisals and assisting in resolving the conflict.
  • Identify training needs within the organization through job analysis and performance appraisal.
  • Calculate training budget and assure all programs are within budget.
  • Design and develop training programs whether internal or external.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience.
  • Proven experience in managing employee relations and case management
  • Broad awareness and empathy for the Talent, Reward and OE agendas
  • Experience in organizational effectiveness and organization change processes
  • Relationship and People skills
  • Proven ability to facilitate, persuade, influence and build credibility with all levels and all functions.
  • Consultancy skills, specifically diagnosis and contracting.
  • Excellent coaching and relationship building skills.
  • Analytical, interpretative and decision-making skills within a process environment.
  • Can take employee feedback and identify trends and themes, develop interventions and engage senior stakeholders behind required action.
  • Can develop plans and take through to action – engaging relevant stakeholders and managing expectations around timing, process etc.
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage between day-to-day requests and proactively driving a more strategic people agenda.
    Qualifications
  • Excellent command of the English language both written and oral.
