Job Description
Medical sales representatives are primarily responsible for:
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers.
- This often involves corresponding with customers via telephone, email or other means to take orders, solicit opinions, provide information about new tests and services, keep records or complete progress reports.
- Sales representatives must also keep track of new developments in the field in order to provide competitive information to customers.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities;
- Arranging appointments with doctors and hospitals (IVF centers)
- Preparing and presenting presentations to doctors during the day.
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with new/current customers.
- Keeping detailed records of all contacts.
- Preparing a solid data base for all our clients/doctors.
- Reaching monthly sales targets.
- Planning work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables.
- Discussing future targets with the sales manager.
- Regularly attending company meetings, trainings, technical data presentations and briefings.
- Monitoring competitors activity and competitors' tests
- Maintaining knowledge of new developments in the IVF field including the negative and positive impacts on the business and adapting strategy accordingly
- Developing strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts.
- Staying informed about the activities of IVF in a particular area.
- Attending and organizing trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
- Reviewing sales performance.
- Writing reports and other documents .
- Take the extra mile to engage clients/doctors
- Trying to exceed the annual target
- Daily follow up with the direct manager
- Weekly reports
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
