Job Description
Job purpose:
Identifying and selling Events prospects; maintaining relationships with sponsors’ exhibitors and potential clients.
Job Duties:
- Identifies relevant business opportunities by identifying Event prospects; promoting, researching and analyzing promotion and branding options.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through calling and active networking.
- Set up meetings with Potential clients and listen to their wishes, targets and objectives.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate Event contribution packages.
- Negotiate with potential sponsors deals and participation opportunities.
- Identifies Event promotion improvements and competitors’ edges.
- Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
- Build good working relationships and understand the needs of potential customers to properly offer sponsorship packages.
- Negotiate the terms of the agreement and close the deal.
- Challenge any customer objections and providing them with quotations.
- Review sales and fundraising performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
- Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues.
