Job Description

Job purpose:

Identifying and selling Events prospects; maintaining relationships with sponsors’ exhibitors and potential clients.

Job Duties:

  • Identifies relevant business opportunities by identifying Event prospects; promoting, researching and analyzing promotion and branding options.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through calling and active networking.
  • Set up meetings with Potential clients and listen to their wishes, targets and objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate Event contribution packages.
  • Negotiate with potential sponsors deals and participation opportunities.
  • Identifies Event promotion improvements and competitors’ edges.
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
  • Build good working relationships and understand the needs of potential customers to properly offer sponsorship packages.
  • Negotiate the terms of the agreement and close the deal.
  • Challenge any customer objections and providing them with quotations.
  • Review sales and fundraising performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
  • Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues.
