Job Description

  • Primarily responsible for content modifications, additions, deletions and implementing approved digital enhancements related to Automotive.
  • Create and publish engaging content: writing blog posts, articles, newsletters, communications materials, and material for social media channels.
  • Setup new site pages/sections and campaign landing pages.
  • Setup and maintain campaign goals, profile data, multivariate test and reporting within the Sitecore Digital Marketing System.
  • Continually monitor the website in a proactive manner to ensure that information is accurate, content is current and pages are free of errors.
  • Verify compatibility within all browsers and across mobile devices.
  • Maintain metadata and other inputs in the system to optimize search engine results.
  • Keep up to date on all Bayer web guidelines and standards. Work with Web Communications to make certain that the proper guidelines are followed across all digital channels.
  • Respond to user inquiries, comments and suggestions.
  • Perform image manipulation tasks such as creating thumbnails, image resize, file format conversion and simple image edits.
  • Create and maintain multimedia, including photo galleries, slideshows, and videos embedded in Web pages.
  • Manage all work request within a tracking system.
  • Verify that all content is approved through proper channels and systems prior to posting and ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection).

Job Requirements

  • Excellent writing and verbal communication in Arabic/English
  • Must be able to work effectively both as a team member and independently.
  • Advanced writing and editing skills.
  • Solid understanding of social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc).
  • Self Management - you’re able to set tasks for yourself and achieve them when you say
  • Demonstrate ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work with minimal supervision in a team environment
  • Knowledge about sustainability topics and recent developments related to the field.
  • Advanced general computing skills and project-management skills.
  • Minimum 2 years as a web content/social media coordinator.
