Job Description
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of the data contained in the accounting records
- Ensure timely monthly closing of books and related reports.
- Maintain accurate performance of all Raya / BariQ policies, strictly adhering to Raya financial policies.
- Responsible for BariQ annual budgeting and planning.
- Prepare quarterly detailed financial statements for the external auditors, the external tax advisors.
- Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for operation & CAPEX.
- Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances
- Identify, investigate, and analyze potential operational improvement. As appropriate, based on findings making proposal for operational changes (policy, procedures, processes, etc.)
- Oversee external audit and tax functions, coordinate activities with outside audit firms and review firms performance … prepare all Raya holding internal audit reports & analysis
- Manage Accounting team & setting subordinates' objectives and conducting their annual appraisal
- Ensure that the Finance team delivers the highest standard of departmental, cross departmental and cross corporation teamwork and customer service
- Overse the annual insurance renewal process and ensure appropriate coverage is maintained at all times
- Performs other related duties.
Job Requirements
Functional level:
- Excellent knowledge of accounting Standards IFRS
- Excellent knowledge of External Audit Requirements.
- Excellent knowledge of using ERP systems (Oracle is plus).
Business level:
- Understanding of Raya Culture and Values.
- Ability to improve existing systems.
