Job Description
- Administer the purchasing of indirect materials by coordinating with the requestor and suppliers to ensure the purchasing of the right quantity with the right quality at the right time with the best price following the company’s Purchasing Policy .
- Ensure to have Jotun Global agreements fulfilled by supporting & aligning with Regional and Group Purchasing.
- Conduct the purchasing process and procedure by sourcing the potential suppliers, evaluate their quality, negotiating their terms to effectively manage the tender.
- Maintain the payments for suppliers by coordinating with finance department in assuring that invoices are booked, and payments are made in time to secure materials delivered as per request.
- Organize with the stakeholders by receiving the goods receipt note to ensure that the procured items are in conformance with the purchase order.
- Perform efficient documentation, by coordinating with finance on invoices (Indirect Materials), shipping documents with clearance agents (Direct & Indirect Materials), contract agreement with a legal entity, receipt note with the warehouse etc, to close all purchase orders.
- Use and improve MRO non-inventory purchasing (or MRO maintenance repair and operations) system to satisfy the Company's requirements for indirect material by liaising closely with Purchasing, Facilities, and Operations.
Job Requirements
- Arabic & English Speaker is a must
- Bachelor degree
- 1-3 Years of relevant work experience in Purchasing
