Job Description
- Support customer interface, test-tool introduction, test planning creation, staff supervision, and cost and progress status reporting including the development of testing goals and strategy.
- Introduce, optimize, or adapt supporting processes like defect management and configuration management to capture and manage defects, fixes, regression test cycles, and data reload.
- Analyze requirements and specifications and translate requirements into a defined test strategy, test plan, and test specifications.
- Establish expected results based on acceptance criteria and test data for test cases.
- Perform manual testing on all applications from the earliest opportunity
- Create, install, optimize, and administrate the testing environment.
- Create and execute test scripts to execute and automate test plans.
- Capture and manage defects and fixes. Perform regression test cycles and data reloads in addition to load testing
- Create and communicate test reports, status, and testing information to the project team and the direct manager.
- Test Traceability Matrix (tracing the test procedures to the test requirements).
- Responsible on task break down stricture with testing team, review tasks, estimates, distribute the tasks across the team.
- Managing the daily workload of the testers.
- Settle on latest test approaches and tools, and transferring this knowledge to test team.
- Execute basic SQL queries for data verification.
- Guide stakeholders throughout playing scrum master role
- Review all testing team deliverables test cases creation, test documentation, and user documentation.
Job Requirements
- University degree in B.Sc. in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- 6 to 10 years of testing experience, with 2 to 3 years in a leading position.
- Postgraduate study in the related field is preferred.
- CSTE/ ISTQB advanced is preferred.
- SCRUM master certificate is preferred.
- Experience in health care domain is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Leadership and excellent communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills, detailed oriented and high pickiness skills.
- Strong characteristics with powerful ownership attitude.
- Well-versed with all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Hands-on experience in working with scrum and agile methodologies.
- Experience in designing, executing test cases and appropriate bug reporting.
- Professional experience in Integration, Functional, Regression, System Testing, Load Testing, UAT Testing, Black Box and GUI testing.
- Expertise in querying and testing RDBMS such as Oracle, MS SQL Server using SQL, PL/SQL for data integrity.
- Advanced scripting (UNIX, SQL, PL/SQL, Transact-SQL, etc.)
- Experience in working on a continuously deploying release schedule.
- Experience in dealing with continuous Integration tools.
- Experience in test automation tools.
- Experience in performance testing.
- Fast learner and an ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
- Technical documentation skills are essential.
