Job Description

  • Founded in 2007 we are an award-winning software company specializing in artificial intelligence with offices in Bonn, Germany, and Cairo, Egypt. Taking a long-term approach to developing products and technological solutions, we work globally and across a wide array of industries as diverse as cyber security, sports management and supply chain.

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our team in Maadi, Cairo.

About The Role:

  • As our Social Media Manager you will own, operate, and grow the social media function, scaling the operations and impact of our social media accounts across Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
  • You will work cross-functionally with other team members in Operations, Content and Business Development, to grow pipelines of articles, stories, thought leadership, videos, and more, designed to engage with each of our audiences.
  • You will also develop strategies for engaging with trusted brands, people, and media outlets that are relevant to us, and will develop systems for measuring the impact of these strategies.
  • You will be responsible for introducing and accordingly develop digital strategies for new products.

You Will Also:

  • Develop and improve processes for continuously sourcing thought leadership material for each platform and audience.
  • To be successful in this role, you must be comfortable making effective decisions in ambiguous environments, and must not be someone who needs extensively defined rules.
  • You will be expected to holistically own social media at The D., improving upon existing best practices and doing everything yourself as you think through how to scale the function long-term.

Job Requirements

About You:

  • 4+ of experience in the industry
  • You must have a strong understanding of best practices across all social media platforms.
  • Have a track record of successfully executed Social Media Campaigns
  • Know how to set and implement strategies to grow fan base and customer acquisition
  • Experienced in setting budgets and calculating ROI
  • Know how to generate creative ideas, take initiatives and lead upon them
  • Knowledge of social media and analytics software (Hootsuite, Social Bakers, Raven Tools, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of social media paid advertising campaigns including Facebook, Linkedin, and Twitter.
  • Able to deliver weekly / monthly performance reports
  • Strong presentation skills and research skills
  • Strong, professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • You have knowledge within the tech industry and its dynamics.
  • Ownership. You must take responsibility for our public image.
  • Quality. You take pride in everything you deliver as a reflection of yourself.
  • Fluent in Arabic & English.
