Job Description

  • Minicash Solutions support-functional; provide users with solutions functional support and escalate problems to the concerned solutions development teams for resolution.
  • Ensure that the Minicash solutions are maintained to the highest possible standard with maximum levels of attainable productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage problem analysis and resolution for complex solution problems, in conjunction with the users and external solution or service suppliers where necessary.
  • Define, develop and provide solution problem analysis and resolution service for complex solution problems in conjunction with the users and Technology Sector Corresponding Business Solutions Development teams.
  • Improve application functionality and performance and provide suggestions for system and business improvements.
  • The post holder may be required to respond to out-of-hours application support requests (for which an additional allowance will be made)
  • Develop procedures and documentation for Minicash solution support
  • New user administration as required
  • Proactively manage data quality in systems
  • Directly provide user training and training materials and arrange third party training.
  • Undertake any other duties of a similar level and responsibility as may be required from time to time.
  • Achieve a higher Customer satisfaction regarding Support processes.
  • Build a trusted relationship with multiple roles in the business unit and Establishes /maintains a strategic relationship with appropriate level key stakeholders and IS&T
  • Roll out new updates/solutions into production
  • Work hand-in-hand with the corresponding business solutions development teams

Job Requirements

  • Computer Engineering or computer science or equivalent Degree
  • Installing, maintaining, and supporting business applications
  • Extensive experience of analyzing user needs and requirements, mapping process and documenting the results
  • Retail industry experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Makes and communicates clear decisions
  • Balances risks and benefits of various options and decisions
  • Applies existing methods in new ways or new situations
  • Challenges the status quo: suggests new approaches to old problems
