Job Description
- Study client’s design brief or questionnaire
- Search for standards
- Search for inspiration pics and similar projects (Internet / Books).
- Visit inspiring similar Projects
- Bring great, fresh ideas to the Client that are project-appropriate
- Develop vignettes and hand sketches of architectural ideas that work in the space and meet intended design goals; articulate why concepts work to the team using sound, logical reasoning
- Produce concept boards of images for feedback and approval from the direct manager and Clients, which capture the intended look and attitude and that reflect branding and positioning with architecture, color, finish materials, and lighting
- Select in-budget materials and finishes that support the concepts
- Drafting and developing drawings
- Visualizing drawings and 3Ds if available
- Prepare Concept Presentation and mood boards
- Apply Concept to layouts and elevations
- Apply Client’s Comments to concept Presentation
- Contribute to elaborating the project concept Working on schematic package plan &elevations.
- Incorporating Concepts into Zoning and Layouts.
- Producing schematic Packages
- Develop & Deliver design packages including Architectural/ Electrical/ Sanitary/ HVAC
- Designing and selecting lighting, lighting fixtures, fixed furniture, Custom made, sanitary ware & materials that support the concepts
- Coordinate with FF&E Designers the design elements with the furniture/ products selection to support the selected concept
- Submission of Material Board/Samples
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Architecture /interior design
- Years of experience: 2 -4 years / Real estate, interior design, architectural design, and Construction background is a must.
- Excellent user in Micro-soft office, Micro-soft Project, AutoCAD, and Photoshop
- Good knowledge in InDesign and Sketchup
