Job Description

  • Demonstrates an understanding of digital and ad serving terminology
  • QA various creative files (static, flash, rich media, HTML5) for proper functionality and adherence to ad specs as well as IAB Guidelines
  • Load creative files into Doubleclick and assign appropriate click tag(s) within online ad creative
  • Implement/QA site analytic event tag URL extensions
  • Correctly traffic digital ad tags across various tactics to vendors in a timely manner
  • Ensure appropriate implementation of ad tags upon launch
  • Provide status of campaign implementation to the media planning team within 3 days of launch, including screenshots, and actions taken if implementation issues occur
  • Interface regularly with partners; resolve issues that arise including reporting discrepancies, creative policing, trafficking requirements, pacing
  • Apply Event Tags (comScore, 3rd party survey pixels) to various campaign for tracking
  • Follow a comprehensive QA SOP for creation, implementation, maintenance and shut down of campaigns
  • Creation, Trafficking and QA of floodlight activities for brand sites
  • Manage site analytic code lookup tables
  • Troubleshoot internal and external ad server system issues (impressions, viewability)
  • Monitor all live campaigns for proper serving, click through action, and conversion events
  • Coordinate with client data feeds and ad-hoc report requests, as necessary

Job Requirements

  • Must be proficient in ad server targeting methods
  • Excellent multitasking abilities and the ability to prioritize well in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with different online advertising pricing structures (CPC, CPM, CPA, etc.)
  • Comfortable working with vendors, clients, and other outside parties
  • Strong detail orientation
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage projects autonomously
  • Strong computer skills, math skills, and internet savvy
  • Must be extremely proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
  • Strong understanding of various ad types
  • Ability to support inquiries from associate and campaign analysts
  • Experience with matrix organizations
  • The ability to prioritize tasks across dozens of brands to ensure the meeting of deadlines
  • Experience with Rich Media files and Double Click Studio
  • Knowledge of coding of multiple click tags
  • Experience with flash decompilers, a plus
  • Pharmaceutical experience preferred Minimum 1 year of experience
