Job Description
- Submit/Perform the required change requests relevant to Data Center virtual and physical infrastructure.
- Acts as 2nd Tier Support, and handle internal Escalation to different technical teams.
- support and maintain hardware and software infrastructure according to best practices, including routers, aggregators, switches, wifi controllers, and firewalls.
- Perform root cause analysis to resolve current problems and solve issues, often under time constraints
- Perform virtual and physical network management and administration
- Implement the necessary controls and procedures to protect Data Center network assets
- Assist in the development of guidelines and procedures for administration best practices
- Perform regular monitoring to identify any possible wrong behaviors
- Monitor network usage, anticipate problems and suggest solutions
- Work closely with colleagues to meet team goals and improve processes and practices.
- Cover Data Centers shifts 24/7 according to the shift schedule maintained by Data Center team leaders if needed
- Perform Data Center physical eye check for (Temperature, humidity, Customers physical equipment as Racks, Servers and Storages, Surveillance recording system, Building Management system, … etc)
- Respond to customer inquiries through Phone calls, emails and/or tickets & Log all customer communications in the ticketing system
- Contact ISPs/Suppliers/Vendors for escalating/following up incidents.
- Perform the root cause analysis to any outage and create the RFO Reports
- The employee has to follow the ISMS policies, procedures and all other ISMS requirements
Job Requirements

Bachelor degree with B.Sc. in Communications or Computer Science

From 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience on network topology, protocols, routing protocols, routers, switches…etc.
- Hands-on experience on network security equipment Firewalls, IPS, Fortigate, HIPS, URL filters, Network Access Control…etc.
- Good Knowledge of Technical reports writing
- CCNA is a Must
- Work is on rotational shift bases
