Job Description
Main Job Duties:
- Install, update, tune and diagnose Alpha ERP applications.
- Provides first level support of the Supply-Chain and GL modules in Alpha ERP application and software components
- Administer, resolve Alpha ERP application issues, perform root cause analysis, and play 2nd level support role, maintain appropriate issues log for all solutions.
- Sets up administrator, service and user accounts and permissions
- Provides advice and training to end-users
- Maintains and enters essential data to the system and Interacts with users to validate it
- Maintain good professional relationships with counterparts of IT and Business departments.
- Support of end-of-year closing process
- Collaborate with hardware, OS, DBA technical teams to ensure system proper integration
- Plan and coordinate testing changes, upgrades, and new services, ensuring systems will operate correctly in current and future environments
- Maintain SLA, system availability of 99%, Capacity management, and Performance KPI
- Maintains knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned
- Maintain timely status update report to IT Management.
Job Requirements
- 4 to 5 years of experience in ERP application support out of which 2 years in supporting Alpha ERP application supply chain / GL modules
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Deep knowledge of ERP supply chain on Alpha System is a must
- Knowledge of DB concepts and relational DB model.
- Deep knowledge and experience in SQL, PL/SQL, DB triggers, Stored
- Procedures, Oracle forms & reports.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
