Job Description

  • Be accountable for the delivery, quality, and success of the user experience for a product or business throughout the entire life cycle, including optimization and innovation with new features.
  • Work collaboratively within an agile product team made up of product managers, engineers, and fellow UXers to deliver world-class product experiences through iterative releases.
  • Help your business owners, engineering managers and UX leadership evaluate success criteria and prioritize an efficient road map that balances short-term and longer-term experiences and focuses appropriately on the highest value opportunities.
  • Oversee and manage the daily work of a small team of interaction and visual designers, content and research specialists.
  • Utilize qualitative and quantitative data from user research, click stream, and business analysis to drive demonstrable improvements to design solutions.
  • Present your design methods, explorations, and trade off rationale along with a recommendation to team partners, business stakeholders and UX leadership.
  • Evaluate competitive and innovative products and design approaches to identify best practices and encourage innovation.
  • Hold brainstorming and cross-product team collaboration sessions.
  • Facilitate the sharing of best practices across UX team.
  • Be a great team player, experienced in working with agile teams. Ability to collaborate closely with developers, copywriters and UX designers.
  • Create, improve and use wire frames, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods.
  • Present and defend your design decisions. All your design decisions should be based on the overall design roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. color theory, visual weight, etc.)
  • Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest changes in your industry’s standards.
  • Formulate basic layout design or presentation approach and specify material details, such as style and size of type, photographs, graphics, animation, video, and sound
  • Manage own accounts and projects, working within budget and scheduling requirements.
  • Present final layouts to clients for approval.
  • Review and approve art materials, copy materials, and proofs of printed copy developed by staff members.
  • Work with creative directors to develop design solutions.
  • Create custom illustrations or other graphic elements.
  • Review illustrative material to determine if it conforms to standards and specifications.
  • Research current trends and new technology, such as printing production techniques, computer software, and design trends.
  • Train, and direct staff members who develop design concepts into art layouts.
  • Mark up, paste, and complete layouts and write typography instructions to prepare materials for typesetting or printing.
  • Conceptualize and help design interfaces for multimedia products, and devices.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Applied Arts or equivalent.
  • 8 Years of experience.
  • Proven track record of UX – Graphic Designing Experience.
  • Understand the user experience strategy for a product and drive the overall design solutions based on usability, intuitiveness, consistency, delightful, business goals and time to market.
  • Experience working in and leading teams within agile design and development teams.
  • Strong experience with fundamental user-centered, usability, and interaction design principles.
  • Advanced ability to conceive and document solutions through user flows, storyboards, wireframes, personas, prototypes, test cases, or written specifications and user stories.
  • Ability to articulate creative interactive solutions.
  • Solid visual design understanding with an awareness of the impact of typography, layout and composition, color theory, grid systems and use of photography.
  • Advanced conception skills and original thinking.
  • Advanced proficiency in industry tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A professional and personal portfolio of delightful and useful user experience solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
