Job Description

Main Job Duties:

  • Representing the company in all aspects of the Project and in all dealings with the Employer, Consultant team, Contractor, and any other entity involved in the Project.
  • Reviewing and distributing all incoming and outgoing correspondence and documents.
  • Managing all design and construction tenders, including tender invitations, arranging site visits, response to queries, tender opening, assessment of technical offers, etc.
  • Chairing all meetings with the Contractor and Consultant team and preparing related minutes.
  • Producing weekly progress reports and other reports to the Employer.
  • Preparing correspondence to the various parties in the Project, as required for its proper implementation.
  • Monitoring of the Project Cost and Schedule, and recommending required actions for the maintenance and optimization thereof.
  • Liaising between the Employer, Consultant team and Contractor.
  • Ensuring the alleviation of any obstacles that may potentially affect the wellbeing of the Project.
  • Managing and monitoring of the resources deployed by all parties to ensure the timely completion of the project.
  • Issuing Site Instruction, NCD’s, response to RFI’s and other notices and instructions to the Contractor, as required for the proper implementation of the Project.
  • Managing the Quality Assurance process, including the review and approval of drawings and submittals, inspection of works, testing and commissioning, etc.
  • Ensuring implementation of a safety plan in accordance with the Employer’s standards, as well as recognized international practice.
  • Preparing and monitoring of snag lists leading to Project completion, and issuing the Taking Over Certificate

Job Requirements

  • Only males
  • B.Sc. in Engineering,
  • 15 years experience in construction and project management
  • Good spoken and written English language,
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Traveling is a must
  • Previously worked in similar industry only.
