Job Description:
- Responsible for designing our showrooms and exhibitions such as (Le Marche, Furnex, Hace, Cafex,...etc)
- Develop the set right from the floor plan drawn to scale, deciding on interiors and upon receiving approval from the General Manager and the Sales Manager, building the set with Assistance of carpenters.
- Be knowledgeable about current market trends, fashion and social trends relating to outdoor furnishing and interior designs.
- Ensure that products are maintained in an “as new” condition all the time by making weekly checks of the sets and carry out regular maintenance work, such as replacing items that are out of stock in the store or replacing items that have industrial defects and sending them back to the factory. The showroom sets should always reflect the standers set by Asia Furniture for display
- Design and makes changes in the office interiors as and when requested to do so.
- Be involved in the recruitment of the interior designers; ensure the vacancies are filled as soon as they arise and the right candidates are hired in the vacant positions.
Job Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Interior Designing or Architecture
- 3 – 5 years experience in Interior Design, furniture experience is preferred
- Be a self-starter and take a pro-active approach.
- Highly developed knowledge of outdoor furnishings and what customers need
- Project management and store layout experience
- Ability to generate and communicate ideas from sketch work through to development.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
- Proficient in SolidWorks, 3D max, AutoCAD, KeyShot, Microsoft Office packages, Adobe Creative, SuiteHand, and sketching skills.
- Highly organized, detail oriented, deadline driven.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and smoothly transition between quickly and effectively.
- You are a team player, building strong relationships with cross functional team.
