Job Description
- Install and implement SAP support packages, SAP system upgrades, kernel patches for both ABAB and Java stacks, provide client administration including creating/deleting, copies and refreshes.
- Perform all system administration tasks related to SAP ECC, CRM and BI, tasks include proactive monitoring, analysis and troubleshooting of issues, maintain and create RFC’s, system parameters, scheduling background jobs, and weekly review of the SAP Early Watch Report.
- Analyse SAP system performance, database performance, system health checks across all SAP systems, tune system when necessary, identify issues with long running programs, perform bottleneck analysis, and work with development to resolve issue.
- Maintain user and system ID's within the SAP Service Marketplace, maintain the SAP router, open connections for SAP support, create Developer keys, apply for system and maintenance licenses when necessary, search for and implement OSS notes, support packages and patches, and open SAP messages when SAP support is required.
- Maintain TMS Administration tasks including running transport, add SAP instances to an existing transport domain, create new transport domains when necessary, periodically backup and purge the buffer, create and maintain transport routes and groups.
- Provides assistance to IT developers on efficient use of the SAP system and provides guidance to SAP Basis administrators.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s of Computer Science, Engineering or Information technology or equivalent.
- At least 4 years Experience in SAP Basis, installation and configuration of ECC 6.0 environments
