Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing, supportive team and apply your development knowledge and technical expertise as a NetSuite Technical Consultant (Developer) responsible for implementing high-impact custom integrations and advanced back-office solutions. You will be a valuable member of the NetSuite Consulting team, and will be provided substantial opportunity for technical and professional development.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, test, deploy and maintain NetSuite custom solutions that enhance and integrate core business
- Developing scripts based on JavaScript and NetSuite requirements
- Developing new software for NetSuite modules based on SDN the SuiteCloud development environment
- Perform skilled integrations between NetSuite and other applications.
- Development of customization to NetSuite fields, forms, workflow rules, record types, user roles and dashboards
- Writing code and perform unit testing
- Testing code for validity of results, accuracy and conformance to specified development specifications
- Ability to develop custom NetSuite reports and searches per requirements documents and standards
- Create supporting code documentation
- Creation of scripts containing business logic to support functional requirements
- Review changes and perform required updates
- Develop and deploy stand-alone custom apps outside of core systems as required
- Design and develop custom business processes
- Defining and developing functional specification for new NetSuite modules
- Providing on-going support as well as quality documentation and business process documents
Job Requirements
- Travel to Saudi Arabia 75 % of the time
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar technical field; or equivalent experience
- NetSuite Development Certification(s), plus
- 1+ years of experience of NetSuite successfully Development experience (SuiteScript, SuiteTalk (Suitelet, Restlet, REST, SOAP, JSON, etc), SuiteBundler, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, SuiteBuilder,,,,etc) with ability to follow development best practices.
- Additionally, relevant software development experience.
- Experience developing in and integrating data from and into NetSuite
- Experience with building APIs and web services using REST, SOAP, etc.
- Working experience creating custom records, custom fields and saved searches
- Working experience creating/modifying Workflows
- Solid background in software programming including a deep understanding of JavaScript, HTML using different methodologies
- Knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, SOAP, XML, JSON, and REST technologies
- Skilled in integration approaches and strategies, preferably someone who has done work involving web services.
- Database and SQL experience
- Working knowledge and previous development experience with ERP, CRM Business Process
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
