Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated senior UI developer to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include creating and translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. Knows how to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing attractive user interfaces with valid, clean, and maintainable codes
- Visualizing, owning, and executing the creation of an experience from the initial concept to collaborating with developers on implementation
- Inspecting and debugging front-end-related issues across all devices
- Following brand guidelines of website creation
- Managing cross-browser issues (troubleshooting and resolution)
- Improving user experience across all our products and website
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Extensive experience in UI design, ideally both for desktop web applications and mobile apps (tablets and phones)
- Proven track record of creating user-centered designs (websites, web applications, etc.)
- Experience working with HTML, CSS, and Adobe Creative Cloud products (preferably Adobe Illustrator, XD, and Photoshop)
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6, ES7, and jQuery)
- Proficiency in Sass
- Experience working with build tools, such as Gulp
- Experience working with version control systems, such as Git
- Good UI/UX design skills and understanding
- A solid understanding of current trends and design patterns
- Understanding of color theory, web typography, and user psychology
- An online portfolio with an outstanding body of work that demonstrates experience in designing usable web-based interfaces
- Knowledge of building SPAs (Single Page Applications) with React is a plus
