Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Auditor supports the enforcement of corporate quality policies, procedures, tools, and templates. He conducts quality audits to ensure the compliance of departments and supervision teams with the organization’s quality policies and procedures. The job holder also conducts QA / QC activities on design deliverables to ensure the adherence of engineering design works to the organization’s quality standards. He supports the delivery of quality training and awareness sessions, as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AREAS AND ACTIVITIES OF THE ROLE
- Support the enforcement of corporate quality policies and procedures
- Support the adaptation of corporate quality policies and procedures for local requirements, as needed
- Implement the Quality Management System (QMS) in the design center
- Support the development of action plans to achieve quality certification targets (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001) in the design centers and support management with the implementation of these action plans, as needed
- Conduct quality assurance/quality control activities on design deliverables developed and ensure adherence of design deliverables to K&A’s quality policies, procedures, and standards
- Conduct periodic quality audits on the design center and supervision sites to check the compliance of K&A departments with quality policies and procedures
- Identify quality non-conformance issues, summarize findings in periodic quality audit reports and recommend corrective action plans and reports for addressing identified quality non-conformances
- Support with the preparation of periodic audit finding reports and quality performance reports, as needed
- Develop and update a database of quality audits and findings as per corporate policies, procedures, and templates
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATION, TECHNICAL SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED TO EXECUTE THIS ROLE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor
- Knowledge of quality compliance requirements and audit programs is preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English, French is an advantage
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO EXECUTE THIS ROLE
- 3+ years of experience in a quality management function, preferably in the Architecture, Engineering and Planning Industry
- Experience with executing quality audits
- Experience with delivering quality training programs
- Experience with quality assurance and quality control activities on engineering design deliverables is preferred
