Job Description

As a BMW Service Advisor, you’ll be at the forefront of the automotive industry, ensuring the highest possible quality of advice for customer service and simultaneously acts as a salesman for services and parts.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Customer advice and care in all questions involving body repairs and paintwork as well as repair methods and economic efficiency.
  • Ensuring customer mobility.
  • Preparing damage calculations.
  • Coordination between customer and insurer (declaration of assignment and assumption
  • of repair costs).
  • Preparing repair orders according to expert reports submitted, customer wishes and the guidelines of BMW AG.
    • Quality assurance for third parties involved (e.g. external paint shops).
    • Active selling of services and parts while simultaneously ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Active selling of BMW car insurance.
    • Marketing of Accident Hotline and small repairs. (Interior repair, spot repair, dent repair, etc.)
    • Monitoring orders and deadlines, preparing, checking and explaining invoices.
    • Responsible for final inspection and performance of vehicle finish – checking for quality
    • and orderly working.
    • Vehicle handover and explaining invoice to customer.
    • Ongoing contact with cooperation partners (officially appointed experts, car hire companies, vehicle recovery services, …).

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor degree in Engineering (Automotive, Mechanical)
    • 2-4 years of experience as a service advisor preferably Bodyshop & paint.
    • Positive attitude
    • High level of social competencies, reassuring and friendly manners
    • Consulting, communication and sales competencies
    • High level of quality awareness
    • Ability to initiate contact, teamwork and to motivate
    • Customer-oriented thinking and actions
    • Driving license in an appropriate class
    • Fluency in English Language
    • Knowledge of complaint handling
