Job Description

Position Brief

  • The booking Agent/Customer Service executive is the first person our customers reach for their needs. An excellent communicator and listener are crucial to ensure the customers’ needs are well understood, and the proposed product/service match the wants of our customers. The booking agent will be responsible to ensure customer’s bookings is processed smoothly by our suppliers and that the customers get the promised value that they paid for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process phone and online customer bookings for all products categories.
  • Take incoming calls from interested customers, helping them find the right product that fits their needs, suggesting different tours, packages or amenities that Arabia Horizons offers and asking questions to help determine what the client needs.
  • Process general customer inquiries and complaints.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer’s bookings and contact suppliers to ensure availability and confirm bookings
  • Promoting and marketing the Tourism and Travel products online
  • Receiving phone, online and staff bookings.
  • Dealing with customer queries, complaints, and negative reviews and work with Arabia Horizons team and suppliers to solve such complaints.
  • Providing advice about flights, tours, holidays or visas etc.
  • Meeting sales targets
  • Preparing promotional materials and displays.

Job Requirements

  • BSc/BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or any relevant field.
  • Having 3 years of booking agent, customer service, call center experience in a Travel Agency is a must.
  • Wide understanding and knowledge of UAE Travel & Tourism industry is a major plus.
  • Hands on experience in tourism and travel products.
  • Experienced in dealing with customers over the phone.
  • Knowledgeable in B2B and B2C system and workflow
  • Great focus and attention to detail
  • Organized and disciplined with strong organized management skills
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication in English, Arabic is a major plus, and an extra language is amazing.
  • Able to concentrate on multiple tasks at once
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication skills & teamwork
  • Entrepreneurial: Be scrappy and get things done. A real problem-solver
  • Patient and able to bear work stress and pressure
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & Google (Docs, Sheets, Presentation)
