Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Back-End Word Press Developer ( PHP) who will Develop and maintain websites and web applications for clients, with the help of the team. Get involved in the project discovery phase by brainstorming solutions, writing documentation, and designing database structures. Write clean, logical PHP code according to project requirements and documentation.
Responsibilities
- We don't copy and paste solutions, therefore we don't expect you to copy and paste code, this is serious stuff and we promise that you will go home every day exhausted and humbled by the challenges you will face. Expect to learn a lot!
- WordPress plugin development
- Focus on application development and tools.
- Writing code and test new and innovative web applications, integrate web tools or new features, develop or integrate new code, maintain and address existing code.
- Application development of global websites while maintaining web standards and best practices
Job Requirements
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like GitHub and/or BitBucket.
- Experience designing and developing responsive websites.
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
- Experience in Angular.
- Excellent knowledge of back end technologies like PHP and MySQL
- Working knowledge of front end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
- Eager to achieve great goals
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Design Patterns
- Eager to learn new technologies and work with it.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred but not required
