Job opportunity - Tour company - Accounting and Tour Operator
In collaboration with the Operations Manager and under his supervision, the accounting and operation officer will handle the following tasks:
- Operation work for tours, such as quotations, coordination with tour guides, drivers, etc and follow up of existing tours.
- General accounting tasks for the tour company, tax calculations, payments.
- Reconciling and maintaining general ledger for operations, journal entries, income, and balance sheet accounts, preparing monthly closing and financial reports, preparing account/bank reconciliations).
- Ensure and confirm all payment activities receivables (from clients) and payables (for hotels, cruises, tour guides, drivers, other operators, providers) are performed accurately and timely.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and yearly end closure of accounts, including bank reconciliation, and submit reports to the Operations Manager as per prescribed deadlines.
- Communicating with customers, being able to answer their questions or direct them to other team members who can serve them.
- Ensure all expenses are within budget and verify the completeness of all required supporting documentation for all payments voucher.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Management Team (Owner, Director, and Operations Manager).
Job Requirements
SKILLS NEEDED
- Good knowledge about the different attractions and destinations in Egypt.
- Experience in operating tours.
- Have experience in accounting and CRM systems.
- Very good computer skills (Internet, word, excel, etc)
- Fluent in English, speaking, and writing. Fluency in French will be an additional advantage.
- Energetic personality and ability to learn fast. Good public relations skills.
Preferable:
- Who have previous experience working in Traveling business.
- Living in Maadi or close by.
