Job Description
We are currently looking for a seasoned frontend developer with a focus on translation of design mock-ups and wireframes into front-end code.
The team in Cairo include UX/UI designer, UI & Frontend Developer, and Project Manager / Scrum Master whom are well integrated with Abu Dhabi based CTO and Founder via regular team meetings, workflow management tools, and additional correspondence.
We are looking to fill this position within the next two weeks either on full-time basis (preferred) or part time. The team are currently working remotely, but we anticipate having an office in Cairo during March.
Your Commitments:
- Develop new user-facing features
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Front-end integration with back-end
- Unit testing with Karma
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ year of frontend development experience using javascript.
- Bachelor Degree in computer science and certifications + training
- Good knowledge of fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- CSS pre-processors like Sass and LESS
- MiddleWare and Tool Integrations
- Good Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like Ember, AngularJS, React, etc., or JS-based build tools like Grunt, Gulp, and Bower
- Libraries like jQuery or Backbone.js
- Front-end (CSS) frameworks like Foundation or Bootstrap
- AJAX
- Familiarity with API Creation and RESTful services
- Proficiency in English is a must
