Job Description
- Achieve a detailed understanding of the Contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing plans, MEP systems or computer-generated reports, construction sequencing and project schedule.
- Validate design issues related to MEP and suggest alternative solutions.
- Assist in the receipt and review of MEP submittals.
- Prepare and submit change orders/additional orders to the client according to its cost and timeframe.
- Monitor and control the activities of MEP Subcontractors ensuring that they adhere to relevant Quality documentation/records and Project safety regulations.
- Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of MEP works such as centralized heat, firefighting, plumbing, HVAC networks ensuring that machines or equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.
- Coordination and administration of MEP related materials, systems and shop drawings submittals.
- Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, or maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems or processes to meet requirements.
- Investigate equipment failures or difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and recommend remedial actions.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Power Engineering.
- 8 to 15 years of relevant experience in construction firms.
