LSA Infrastructure Section Head - Alexandria

Responsibilities:

Support the Head of ICT to design, manage, maintain and evolve the core infrastructure (networking, computing, and storage) hosting the applications used by the business needs, ensuring it operates as expected to guarantee the continuity of business operations, considering also cost-effectiveness, Act as a portfolio manager towards external providers of ICT systems and services.

Main Tasks:

• Make sure the infrastructure is available and operating as expected.
• Manage the relationships with the external providers of services and technologies used to build and operate the infrastructure.
• Work with the local IT, help desk and with service providers to perform incident, problem and change management.
• Help develop the roadmap for the evolution of the infrastructure.
• Plan upgrades and proactive maintenance of the infrastructure, assure the external providers are properly engaged and coordinate and monitor their activities.
• Help define the guidelines and policies related to the infrastructure, communicate them to all involved parties (local IT and providers) and ensure the involved parties follow the guidelines and policies.
