Job Description
- The primary focus of a Business Development specialist is to generate demand for Rocket Logistics solutions and services through a mix of inbound calls and outbound prospecting within an assigned territory or vertical
- As a Business Development specialist you will act as the first contact for many prospects in Rocket Logistics business with inbound telemarketing calls.
- Qualifies Rocket Logistics prospects and produce quality leads for the Rocket Logistics Sales Force. Performs database and record keeping activities.Rocket Logistics
- Ability to demonstrate time management, telesales skills and knowledge of Rocket Logistics products and services (training provided).
- Goal oriented individual with superior communication skills.
- Ability to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to communicate using technical concepts. Desire for a long-term career in sales preferred.
- Two years relevant business experience preferred.

- We are looking to hire a Business Development Specialist to achieve sales plan objectives with assigned SME clients and targets by effectively selling Rocket Logistics products.
Key Tasks
- Generate business with assigned SME clients and achieve targets in line with the sales plan
- Assure the successful client integration along with support function Tele-sales.
- Provide information to Country Head of Sales for “sales planning” and forecast activities (including prospect qualification and local market intelligence)
- Provide client and target information, maintain CRM with 100% accuracy on every sales call and visits.
- Execute sales process and achieve minimum number of sales visits per week.
- Contact potential customers to profile and qualify for business opportunity.
- Perform assigned tasks to support Rocket Logistics meets its objectives and targets
- Pricing authority within defined guidelines
