Job Description
- Develop Websites using Wordpress that are fast, secure flexible and built to last.
- Develop and maintain technical project documentation.
- Maintain and provide premium support to our current clients, Wordpress developed websites.
Job Requirements
- Write efficient, robust and reusable code while adhering to WordPress coding standards.
- Developing custom themes & plugins and know the differences between both approaches and when to use each.
- Knowledge of Custom Post types, taxonomies, and meta fields.
- Knowledge of basic querying WordPress entities (posts, pages, - categories, custom ..etc.).
- Knowledge of Template Hierarchy.
- Knowledge of Actions and Filters Hooks.
- Knowledge of PHP with OOP.
- knowledge of Javascript knowledge (with jQuery).
- knowledge of MySQL querying.
- Knowledge of database management tools.
- Knowledge of Git version control system.
- Knowledge of Package manager e.g. Composer
- Knowledge and Experience with web servers (Nginx/Apache)
- Familiarity with Linux based OSs.
- Knowledge of Integrating 3rd-party libraries and basic APIs
- Knowledge of Background job processing
- Knowledge of Wordpress APIs is a plus.
- Knowledge of WooCommerce and previous experience is a plus.
- Knowledge developing Multilingual websites is a plus.
