EDGE Pro for information systems is a fast growing company which is expanding geographically as well as in size. We are currently hiring Software Development Manager
We are looking for An Experienced Software development Manager who can perform the below duties:
Scope of Work:
- To manage the technical infrastructure / framework for the delivery of Web Services and to be responsible for the workloads and activities of the Web Developers.
Job Duties:
- Lead and establish priorities for, and manage subsequently, the day-to-day work of the Web Developers
- Determine and manage the technical infrastructure/frameworks to deliver robust, secure and reliable web applications and services;
- Embed and manage effective quality control processes for the development of applications,
- Advise on and plan for future developments, including preparation of requirements specifications
- Cooperate in managing budgets and project costs
- Consulting clients to ascertain project purpose, needs and information required
- Negotiating contracts
- Managing the development of GIS software packages
- Evaluating the functionality of systems
- Making sure that projects keep to pre-determined deadlines
Job Requirements
- Educational: Study major: Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Extra studies: GIS related postgraduate studies or relevant courses is preferable.
- Almost 10 Years of Experience in similar post
- Project Management
- Business and system Analysis
- Project Leading, Team coaching
- Application Development, Application Testing
- System requirement analysis, design and Architecture, and hardware sizing
- Ability to analyze data / Data Modeling/ Conversion / Integration
- Ability to conduct high quality research and design innovated algorithms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High presentation skills level
- Focused & Self Learning
- Knowledge of Relational Database (SQLSERVER / SQLServerSpatial) Management/ Design / Views / Data Mining / Triggers. (Extra: PostgreSQL/PostGIS, ORACLE/ ORACLE Spatial)
- Ability to travel for Presentations & Conferences
- Fluent English language skill is necessary.
