Job Description
- Defines the long-term connectivity road map, based on input from customer & channel influence rs, market indicators , trends and strategic initiatives
- Defines the immediate next year new product (LED Light) introduction plan including the detailed market and product specifications and business case justification
- Continuously analyzes, reviews, and recommends technology trends and standards.
- Works with engineering to set the targeted launch plans and releases supported by capital and resource budgets
- Develop a partnership and strategy to deliver the right solution at the right cost and within budget
- New LED Lights Product Introduction
- Responsible for enabling the sales of control solutions with Entra's lighting solutions platform.
- Providing development of necessary collateral, promotions, samples, etc. as defined by launch priority and requirements
- Product Life Cycle Management
- Continuously manage portfolio health including but not limited to competitive performance, technology upgrades, and end-of-life product utilization
- Select and set priorities for process, price and margin improvement projects using our process teams and initiatives
- Assist the Supply Chain and Demand Plan teams in monthly forecast and planning sessions to help drive operational capacity and on-time service commitments
- Provide continuous product support to internal and external customers as needed, not limited to product training to agents, distributors, customers, etc., includes participation in industry trade shows, conferences and seminars
- Meeting with customers, distributors, and sales reps (sometimes all together) to promote the ENTRA LED product offering and provide support such as application, product training, and services to achieve Sales Plan and quarterly Management Business Objectives.
- Respond to customer, distributor, and sales rep's product inquiries (emails and phone calls) relating to specification, pricing, delivery, and purchase orders. Participate in conference calls and training's.
- Clearly establish Sales Plan Goals with our Sales Channel. Implement and maintain Quarterly Business Reviews with all Distributors and Sales Reps. Create Weekly Activity and Monthly Opportunity, Demand Forecast, Promotion Calendar. Participate in ENTRA internal conference calls with LED Team Generate customer call reports. Obtain customer information. Obtain Market sector knowledge. Obtain competitive data.
- Create a strong business relationship with assigned customers to allow for effective collaboration on new product design and development. Developing a plan to have weekly meetings with the key people to allow for good communication and hear the Voice of Customer (VOC), be sure ENTRA is meeting the needs of the customers
