Job Description
Functional role:-
- Act as the main technical adviser on the construction site for subcontractors, craftsmen and operatives
- Set out, level and survey the site
- Check technical plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
- Ensure that all materials used, and work performed are as per specifications
- Manage, monitor and interpret the plans and design documents supplied by the client or design offices
- Coordinate with technical office to purchase the materials that takes time to be delivered
- Prepare consumed material report in order to settle the finance custody
- Prepare site reports and filling in the paperwork
- Supervise contracted stuff
- Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
- Liaise with the local authority/landlords (where appropriate to the project to ensure compliance with local construction regulations or tenant manuals
- Liaise with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress
- Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the progress of all subcontractors
- Plan the work and efficiently organizing the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
- Oversee quality control and health and safety matters on site
- Prepare reports, project completion percentages and subcontractors invoices to be approved by the project manager and executive team
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
- Manage project time schedule and delivery time.
Job Requirements
Experience in finishes is a must
Education:
- BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering
Experience:
- 4 - 6 years of experience
Skills:
- Excellent English both spoken and written.
- Very good computer skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and meticulous
- Possess good project background and technical writing ability and skills.
- Mature, proactive, resourceful and hands-on with good initiative.
