Job Description

Position Summary

You will help write and produce content for all firm's content requirements including, but not limited to, product descriptions, itineraries details, holiday packages details, blog, marketing content, corporate information etc., to help expand our company’s digital & offline footprint, awareness, subscribers, and leads. In addition to outstanding writing skills, this role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to conduct research while weeding out relevant information.

This position will be responsible for successfully developing technical content to be used and distributed across a variety of channels and will support all marketing content initiatives to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency, and positive customer experience. In addition, they would be responsible for firm-wide content maintenance and continual improvement.

You will be challenged to the core as you will be writing about attractions, events, and experiences that you might not have experienced in real life.

We are looking for a Content Writer to join our team and enrich our websites with new blog posts, guides, and marketing copy.
Content Writer responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication.

There are several different tasks that this position will tackle including:

  • Core website copy
  • Blogs and news articles
  • Social media posts
  • Content for banners
  • Product descriptions
  • Email Templates
  • Review/complaint responses
  • Case studies, white papers, how-to guides, and e-books
  • Company Bios
  • Landing pages

Responsibilities

General Tasks

  • Create and publish engaging content, not to be limited to product descriptions, Brochure & leaflets, SM posts, proposals, ghostwriting, ad messaging, video scripts, website content, and presentations, etc.
  • Edit, proofread and improve other writers’ content.
  • Work closely with the team to help relay the message visually as well as contextually.
  • Ensure content reflects the tone, style and branding message of our firm and strengthens the firm’s position in the marketplace.
  • Responsible for outlining and training on best practices for content development.
  • Help manage the collection and maintenance of content within the firm’s content management platforms.
  • Keep, organize and preserve all content produce in Content inventory file.
  • Plan & schedule content production plan as per marketing, operational, and business development requirements.
  • Optimize content according to SEO.
  • Ensure legal compliance in respect to copyright and data protection.
  • Create content strategies that meet customer needs and business goals.
  • Drive customer engagement and awareness of the firm in the right thought leadership spaces.
  • Further the brand by developing and refining content that supports the firm’s mission and exhibits the firm’s values.
  • Conduct thorough research on relevant topics across all Arabia horizons Tours industries, markets, products, destinations etc.
  • Pitch interesting, fun and relevant blog articles.
  • Blog on an ongoing basis in support of your other projects and to attract site visitors through search, social, and our email subscribers.
  • Work on product categories across cities and create engaging wholesome content to sell them via Arabia Horizons channels
  • Become a part of the ongoing mission to grow organic as a channel 100% MOM over the next year.
  • Research, write and edit content for the website, social media, newsletters, Company brochures, reference letter, legal documents and articles
  • Proofread final draft of web pages.
  • Write crisp and clear copy and can perform quick research and create content
  • Create contents for our websites and blogs that give readers access to information in a creative and simple language.
  • Writing content for websites, articles, and blogs with an understanding of the latest social media trends and SEO.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or any other related degree.
  • Prior 5 years blogging, or content writing experience is a must.
  • At least 2 years of the writing experience should be in the travel and tourism industry.
  • Excellent editing and re-writing skills.
  • Excellent content researcher.
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to work quickly with attention to detail and deadlines
  • Ability to write efficient copy combining creativity and flair with business objectives
  • Passionate about our mission and strong empathy for our users
  • Excellent overall writing skills in several different styles/tones
  • Impeccable spelling and grammar
  • A deep understanding of consumers and what motivates them online
  • Great research, organizational, and learning skills
  • High comprehension of software like Microsoft Word and Google Docs
  • Familiarity with keyword placement and other SEO best practices
  • Some experience with online marketing and lead generation
  • An understanding of formatting articles on the web.
