Job Description
Main Job Duties:
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, Windows Server 2008 /2012/2016
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve problems with Active Directory
- Managing Network Services DNS, DHCP, & NTP
- Manage the daily operation tasks
- Effectiveness in maintaining a well-organized operation to ensure the efficiency and accuracy
- Monitor Servers/Users and Network and All Systems Performance.
- Install, configure, and update MSSQL servers
- Set-up and maintain database replication.
- Monitor database systems.
- Configure, monitor, and respond to alerts and other system-related issues.
- Administration, Manage and Monitor the daily/Weekly & testing of data center backup, recovery, & Site Recovery Manager/ Disaster Recovery technologies.
- Respond to and resolve help desk requests.
- Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution
- Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, protection software and other processes.
- Provide excellent communication both internally with the team and management
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Microsoft Certification MCSA/MCSE is important and preferable
- Experience of at least 2 years
- Preferable Cryptography in Information Security
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Sophos or FortiGate firewall experience
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Flexible, responsible and ownership oriented
- Ability to work on multiple initiatives concurrently, and self-manage day-to-day work
- Install and test computer-related equipment.
- Preferable Administration and monitoring of a 24/7, multi-site environment hosted on VMware vSphere 6+ (ESXi).
