System Engineer

Purpose of the job

The purpose of this job is to consider both the business and the technical needs of Alkan CIT Group with the goal of providing a quality product that meets the Group’s needs.

Authorities, Accountabilities, and Duties

• Abide by Operational Standards and Settings
• Work as per the needed Operational policies and procedures
• Develop and maintain System Handbook
• Reduce manual intervention and increase the productivity of the technical teams
• Coordinate user support; carry out configuration management on the OSS/BSS systems to ensure that the systems are running optimally and that the end user experience is optimized for the operation and maintenance of the IP networks.
• Housekeep and follow up the OSS/BSS systems to ensure they are performing within specifications and fully optimized
• Manage and obtain approval for all changes for the platform, ensuring full communication to the internal and customer base, producing user guides/work instructions where required
• Assist with management requests & development requests through the change process.
• Work in collaboration with IT engineering and testing teams for application development
• Become a business owner and accountable to support system integration and UAT for system changes or upgrades
