Job Description
Design, Documentation and Supervision:
- Carry out all architectural and daily photographic documentation, site surveys and following up their progress in order to compile a complete set of drawings enabling the restoration activities.
- Prepare design proposals, technical specifications, details, shop drawings and technical data necessary for the projects’ activities, and present them to the PM for approval before execution.
- Supervise day-to-day project activities in order to ensure the quality and productivity of the work.
- Assist the PM in following up the consultants’ and contractors’ performance to ensure the quality of implemented works.
- Report and communicate all restoration activities to PM and assist in preparing reports to present the project’s progress and achievements versus the project’s schedule and budget.
Administrative and Financial Issues:
- Assist the PM in assigning all resources required and leading the project crew to ensure the implementation of required tasks.
- Assist in preparing purchase orders of required materials and tools and follow up the float status and the time frame of purchases with the procurement officer to ensure proper work flow
- Deal with suppliers and follow up the quality of samples and materials required by the SM.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications :
- Holder of Bachelor of architecture
- Minimum 5 years of experience ( +5Y)
- Past Experience in the implementation of conservation project of Islamic monuments
- Fluent in English ( spoken and writing ) is must
- Writing reports Skills
- Pc skills : Office applications , Autodesk programs ( AutoCAD , Revit ) ,
- 3D Programs ( 3DMAX ) , presentation programs ( Photoshop, CorelDraw)
