Job Description
- Align with Cloud operations team to perform second line troubleshooting if needed
- Manage VMware Infrastructure/VSphere clusters on Production, Corporate and Test/Development environments
- Propose VM provisioning solutions to be analyzed and/or implemented
- Evaluate and apply version updates to ESX hosts and vulnerability patches as needed
- Cover Data Centers shifts 24/7 according to the shift schedule maintained by Data Center team leaders
- Perform Data Center physical eye check
- Log all incidents and customer communications in the ticketing system
- Monitor and Support Data Center Infrastructure using Data Center monitoring tools
- Facilitate Data Center customers’ visit with Security and Facility department
- Log Customers’ equipment in the Data Center CMDB, establish the required relationships and ensure that it’s visible in the Data Center CMDB reports
- Collect the required approvals for any Change requests, Incidents and Problems
- Communicate the required RFO to the customer & respond within the agreed upon SLA
- Escalate incidents/problems to the second tier support
- Follow the ISMS policies, procedures, and all other ISMS requirements
Job Requirements
- BSc. in Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- From 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Linux /Windows system administration
- Hands on experience in configuring and using VMware hypervisor “ESXi” and open source hypervisors such as KVM
- Good knowledge of Data Center hardware (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, IPSs, Servers, Storages, SAN switches, etc.)
- OS Certificate (MCSA, RHCA) is required
- Hands-on Virtualization environments (VCA, VCP)
- Good knowledge of Storage Fundamentals (EMC – ISM)
- Work is on rotational shift bases
