Job Description
As a Project Operations Manager, you will be a part of the Industrial Automation Division and Oil, Gas & Chemicals Business Unit based in Cairo, Egypt. You will be responsible to carry out Sales & Marketing responsibilities for IAOG Oil & Gas for specific sales channels' segments, complying with the Business Unit strategy & within a sales plan set by the sales manager, to achieve the required LBU targets & goals alongside with customer’s satisfaction.
Tasks:
Your main responsibilities in this role will include:
- Achieving orders volume with profitability targets for Products or Systems or Services.
- Identifying the market requirements and specifics, develop and execute the strategies and tactics for growth of orders and profitability.
- Supporting existing partners and Identifying or developing new partners.
- Actively visiting existing customers and seek opportunities to promote offerings in terms of products, services and solutions of ABB.
- Reporting regularly to the LBU manger or Sales manager on market trends, competition strategies and customer behavior which may affect the ABB business strategies.
- Participating in customer development activities in trade shows, fairs, conferences aiming to promote the sale of products, solutions and services of OGC Business Unit.
- Improving customer satisfaction by understanding, communicating and executing solutions to their needs.
- Cooperating closely with other functions viz. Sales support, Operations & project execution, finance and service teams to ensure the appropriate delivery of commitments to customer and maximize the customer’s overall satisfaction.
- Observing and fully complying with the “Business Ethics” stipulated by ABB. Practicing and promoting the “Customer Focus” culture in all aspects of the role.
- Proactively assessing, clarifying and validating customer needs on an ongoing basis and ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction, representing the Business Unit.
- Ensuring optimum product selection & price level for all quotations.
- Collecting market data on competitors’ prices from tenders.
- Responsible for all his orders registration, issuing purchase requisitions, submit all required documents to order handling for issuing suppliers' orders.
- Reviewing & confirming all suppliers' order acknowledgements. Issuing clients order acknowledgements for all orders, to ensure technical & commercial alignment with client's order.
- Responsibility for all orders payments collection.
- Contributing with all gained market information.
- Seeking & developing new markets approaches for automation products and solutions.
Job Requirements
- As the ideal candidate, you should have a B.SC or Engineering in Electrical, Electronic or communication department with 3-5 years’ of experience in sales Control system and Electrification packages.
- Excellent command of English in both spoken & written. French speaking is an advantage.
