Job Description
- We are a fast growing medium business that is searching for a experienced accountant that can establish and control our whole accounting department.
- Leading and teaching our small accounting team.
- Categorization & classification according to the agreed schedule of items.
- Perform periodic, sudden inventory and match the actual and manual balances to control inventory.
- Participates in the stock assessment process.
- Prepare tax payments
- Estimate and track tax returns
- Complete quarterly and annual tax reports
- Organize and update the company’s tax database
- Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals
- Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
- Share financial data with the accounting department
- Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits
- Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting faculty of Commerce.
- FMCG & Stock Control experience is a MUST
- previous work experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst or Tax Preparing.
- High ability to handle stress & work pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in dealing with ERP systems is a must ( and Odoo is a plus)
- Computer Proficiency: Microsoft Office
