Job Description
Your mission:
- Work closely with our VP Global Engineering to help our global tech & product teams achieve business goals by leveraging Agile practices.
- Work with Agile Coaches, teams, tech leads, and managers in all our entities to create environments with high autonomy and high alignment, where teams learn to self-organize based on a strong and well-understood vision and clear KPIs.
- Coach and mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners and teams on the effective application of Agile values, principles and practices, leading to high performance at a sustainable pace, and high employee engagement.
- Coach and mentor executives and C-level leaders to drive implementation success and overall adoption of Agile in our entities.
- Identify and resolve impediments on the level of the whole organization (company, entity, business unit) and lead Agile and Lean change initiatives, together with other agile coaches and local colleagues of all levels.
- Build and foster a global Agile Community of Practice with all our Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters, and other interested people, to share knowledge and best practices and build relationships and trust.
- Regularly run workshops and training sessions on Agile and Lean within Global Tech and Product group.
- True to the Lean “Go and See” spirit, you’ll be traveling to visit local teams across the globe on a regular basis, with a substantial portion of your time spent on the ground with teams from Montevideo to Seoul, and everywhere in-between.
Job Requirements
Your heroic skills:
- You have 6+ years of work experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master, ideally in a fast-paced startup environment.
- You have proven experience with at least one Agile scaling framework, and ideally have worked as a coach on an organizational level, with 50+ people in the product and tech organization.
- You have a Kaizen and Servant Leader mindset and have a natural willingness to help people and teams to excel.
- Self-starter with a structured approach, and a can-do, pragmatic, solution-oriented attitude.
- People person with strong emotional intelligence. You work very well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of experience and seniority.
- You know how to resolve team conflicts and make them a learning and growing experience;
- You are a team player and have excellent collaboration, communication, organization, and coaching skills.
