Job Description
- Responsible for designing, implementing and executing manual and automation test cases to increase the quality.
- Evaluate software requirements specification.
- Review incoming test basis artifacts (e.g. user stories, specs, etc.) for readiness, verifiability and other quality criteria.
- Create, maintain and execute automated and manual test covering functional as well as non-functional (quality) criteria of the systems under test in accordance to the general test and the test automation strategy.
- Design, develop and implement the functional / non-functional scenarios/test cases creation and management of regression and acceptance test scenarios.
- Identify and implement improvements in the test automation process.
- Setup, configuration and usage of the automation tools and systems to be tested. Detect, report and track software defects.
- Ensure track reported software defects through bugs life cycle.
- Scan and escalate most critical issues on early phases of the project.
- Write automation test script in C# using selenium web driver.
- Participate in test closure report.
- Manage timeline and tasks assigned by Team Lead.
Job Requirements
- Experience: 5 years of full-time professional experience in a related field
Academic Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology
Professional Qualifications:
- Required: ISTQB certified tester
- Preferred: Certified Software Quality Assurance Analyst(CSQA)
- ISTQB-Agile Tester
- ISTQB-Test Analyst/Test Manager
- ISTQB-Certified mobile tester
- ISTQB-CTFL certified
- ISTQB/CSTE/CASQ/CAST/CSBA/CSPE
Competencies:
- Knowledge of software development life cycle model
- Knowledge of quality assurance methodology, tools and processes
- Knowledge of software testing methodology
- Knowledge of issue reporting and management
- Knowledge of ISO, COSO, CMMI, Six Sigma
- Selenium WebDriver (must have)
- Appium (must have)
- Android Studio Expresso (nice to have)
- Swift XCUTest (must have)
- Eclipse / IntelliJ (must have)
- TestNG (must have)
- Junit (nice to have)
- Core Java (must have)
- C# / python / Javascript (nice to have)
- Jenkins / Travis / TFS (minimum any one of the mentioned CICD tool)
