Job Description
- Reporting to the CFO
- Responsible for all work done by the accounting department and supervising accountants
- Responsible for producing financial statements on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with IFRS as well as working with external auditors
- Liaising with operations department regarding payments and document flow
- Maintaining receivables and payables accounts
- Costing and inventory analysis
- Recommend improvements to policies and procedures if needed
- Select accounting software/systems and support implementation
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in accounting, analysis and financial reporting.
- Must be able to produce a full set of accounting books using excel including (JVs, trial balance, balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow).
- Must be able to keep account of receivables and payables.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience working with IFRS.
- Ability to consolidate financial statements of related entities.
- Experience in manufacturing is required.
- Previous working experience in auditing firms.
- Ability to formulate, document and implement financial administrative policies, procedures and systems.
- Understanding of internal control procedures.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft office suite and experience using financial software.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
