Pronet Engineering, is an engineering firm since 1992 with multi-disciplines, in engineering contracting, real estate investments, and ready mix concrete. Now we expand our activities to include new fields in renewable energy (solar, wind, etc.), solid wastes, environmental solutions and advanced engineering products, we believe we can help improving our society and even the region quality of life through introducing clever solutions in these and other advanced technological fields.
Our work is a blend of strategy, technology, engineering, finance, venture capital, and execution; and our key focus is on understanding what the future looks like and how Pronet Engineering can play a part in defining and improving it.
The Business Development team will make important contributions across a diverse array of projects and will be expected to develop a broad skillset in business strategy, finance, data science and engineering. We are a collaborative team with almost no formal hierarchies – so this individual would have significant potential for learning and impact.

Primary responsibilities will include:

Analyze specific potential new business opportunities related to market gaps, disruptive technologies, and shifts in behaviors – across a wide range of industries.·
Drive execution of new business initiatives using a combination of product prototyping, modeling, financial analysis, incubation or business development capabilities.·
Execute on strategic opportunities. ·
Develop strategic partnerships with potential counter-parties on a global basis.· Help define the long-term strategy and operating model of Pronet Engineering.
Strategic investment research & sourcing.
Go-to-market strategy and commercialization of new businesses.·
Crafting investment memoranda for internal use.
Assistance in the execution of new initiatives and transactions.
Competitive analysis and market mapping.
Financial analysis and modeling.

Minimum Requirements:

BA / BS degree – majors or minors in engineering (preferred), Business, economics, data science, finance or related fields with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 (supreme good)·
2-3 of experience in roles within the fields of business strategy, venture capital, banking and/or investment management, consulting, technology, and engineering;
Fluent oral and written English language skills are mandatory, French or Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications:

The ability to write basic code or conduct basic data science analyses a plus;· A passion for technology, financial services and investment management;
A willingness to approach problems from first principles, with the support of rigorous quantitative and qualitative analyses; and
A balanced approach combining judgment, analytical rigor, curiosity, open-mindedness and creativity

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Proven experience in a similar position.
Strong communication (verbal, written), presentation, and consultative skills
Strong aptitude for creative thinking in combination with a proven ability to work analytically and creatively in a problem-solving environment.
Preferred experience in alternative energy and environmental industry and understanding of the issues and opportunities surrounding the changing of these industries and sustainability on the business environment
Results driven and able to work to tight deadlines
Advanced in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
Digital marketing knowledge is an asset
Preferred working skills in SQL, data management and reporting
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
CRM experience is a PLUS
