Job Description
- Manage company shipments to ensure on-time, high-quality deliveries worldwide, in accordance with applicable export laws.
- Manage the manufacturing plan, ensuring appropriate work-orders (Jobs) are created, maintained and closed to assure supply to Project Teams
- Manage inventory, to include leading stocking level assessments and ongoing cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Ensure that supplies, tools, equipment, and raw materials are properly requisitioned, ordered and delivered on time, on budget and to quality requirements
- Form positive working relationships with internal customers and critical suppliers
- Execute and manage supplier agreements
- Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws
- Develop material costs forecasts or standard cost lists.
- Evaluate and select information or other technology solutions to improve tracking and reporting of materials or products distribution, storage, or inventory.
- Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, engineering, and quality assurance, to identify or qualify new suppliers
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders
- supply chain manager is usually expected to improve warehouse operations through the use of lean enterprise practices and share warehouse data to improve productivity, quality
Job Requirements

- Proficient understanding of all levels of the supply chain processes (e.g. inventory planning, warehouse management)
- Outstanding organizational and management skills
