Job Description
- Act as a facilitator between lean consultants and employees.
- Engage in feedback process and identify improvement areas within Lean Team.
- Develop lean expertise by supporting departments and less senior lean team members to apply and execute lean principles and tools.
- Monitor Lean Technicians team.
- Deliver organization’s lean training modules.
- Coach operations, support and lean teams to apply lean materials flow principles to enhance material flow.
- Prioritize safety and quality in executing assigned duties and communicating lean principles to employees.
- Train and support continuous improvement events with departments to determine and eliminate waste.
- Function as organization’s lean advocate.
- Engage in establishing aggressive goals for lean execution and value stream improvement.
- Support high priority divisional projects to attain defined scope on time.
- Analyze and define processes depending upon spaghetti chart analysis and seven waste forms.
- Identify quality issues and suggest correction forms.
- Conduct time studies by breaking job elements to document existing state.
- Develop future state in order to optimize process.
- Execute future state on manufacturing floor
