Job Description

We’re looking for someone to join our diverse regional team as a Training and Development Specialist. You will be based in our Maadi office in Cairo.

  • The Training and Development Specialist role will primarily be to support the development of SYKES leadership population by delivering our leadership training content.
  • Supporting the leadership team in Egypt.
  • You will also collaborate in the development of leadership colleagues across Europe and some of our other global sites.
  • You will however find it as a varied role and you will put your stakeholder management skills to good use.
  • Consulting with senior leaders across the business and advising on the best solutions to fit their needs.

Job Requirements

  • Learning and Development or Training qualification
  • A successful facilitator with strong coaching skills
  • Takes personal accountability and drives continuous improvement
  • Proven track record of delivering tangible results/in training environment
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and often pressured environment
  • Ability to establish credibility quickly and influence at all levels within the organization
  • Excellent planning & organizational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Team player, internally motivated self starter
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Computer literate with an excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience of working in a multicultural, commercial business (preferable Contact Centre) environment
  • Experience of developing and delivering blended development solutions
  • A basic knowledge of HR processes and procedures
  • Experience creating E Learning and working with authoring applications would be an advantage
  • Experience of implementing and managing assessment and/ or development centers
  • Experience of implementing and managing succession planning process
  • University Graduate of any relative discipline
  • Proven record for core competencies: Organizational development, self management, remote management
  • Communication, Planning & Organizing & Working to Objectives/Results Oriented
