Job Description
- To provide support and assistance to the management of the TVET component. Work closely with technical, non-technical and governmental partners in all related activities such as: developing curricula & trainings’ related materials; following up on the TVET training plans with partners; organizing, conducting trainings & maintaining strong relations with trainees; and performing other tasks requested by the management.
Main Job Duties:
- Work with technical partners in developing curricula and related materials such as lessons plans, presentations, tests, … etc.
- Ensure that the curricula align with the Egyptian codes.
- Based on the plan, deliver TVET various’ courses in and out of TVET facilities.
- Proceed with certifying, if needed.
- Work with the Quality and Accreditation Department to develop TVET blended learning modules.
- Coordinate and supervise trainees’ work integrated activities.
- Supervise co-trainers and others to conduct and report on Work Integrated Learning, if needed.
- Organize and coordinate, in collaboration with the Q&A team, the Industry Advisory Group (IAGs) meetings.
- Communicate with employers to create work- integrated learning internship opportunities.
- Monitor part-time trainers’ performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Co-deliver TOT programmes; including lesson planning and course evaluation.
- Participate in curricula review committees.
- Work with OHF communications and marketing team to promote TVET courses.
- Work closely with the admission officer to ensure complete and accurate participant records, and
- Other operational activities/initiatives as required.
Job Requirements
- Relevant bachelor degree, preferably in electrical engineering.
- Not less than two years of working experience, preferably in continuing education and training services.
- Good knowledge of common used terms in electricity and solar energy.
- Excellent command of English and Arabic languages.
- Knowledge of the latest trends in the electricity and solar energy industries trainings.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
