Job Description
- Responsible for the international purchase by coordinating orders for shipment (from point of origin to point of destination) to ensure that the product meets required delivery in the most efficient method and could interfacing with the customers to keep them updated with the progress.
- Revise order requisitions / stock requisitions submitted by sales team and top management local orders (ERP system + order form) with suppliers according to company policy and logistics manager approval .
- Monitor the shipping and tracking updates for incoming shipments .
- Handling all necessary shipping documents as per local or origin country rules and regulations .
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with all foreign vendors .
- Negotiate prices and terms with local/foreign suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders .
- Foster strong partnerships with other businesses
- Supervise the purchasing process from foreign suppliers.
- Receipt of purchasing requisitions , collection and negotiation of offers , selection and orders issuance , following up deliveries, freight documents and customs clearance
Job Requirements
- 1-3 year of Experience in Foreign Purchasing (preferred in an industrial field)
- Bachelor Degree with Supply Chain and logistics background
- Excellent English (Written & Spoken)
