Job Description

  • Develop the annual Business Plan for all the Egypt business
  • Review and enhance the cost accounting for manufacturing.
  • Improve costing clarity, reliability and accuracy of all key business units/products. Drive focus to reduce key costing issues and help grow the most profitable products/customers.
  • In charge of maintaining all accounting records, ledgers, revenues, operating expenses and insurance records
  • Contribute to shifting volume towards products and markets/customers with highest return.Decide on the type of investments which the Company undertakes.
  • Lead the cost analysis, expenses and prepare the estimates/forecast of the future costs and revenues for the business
  • Streamline monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and reporting process in Egypt and suggest improvement for the Group.
  • Supervise and participate in preparing all financial statements and reports
  • Drive working capital efficiency
  • Lead the finance structure to drive better accountability, engagement and contributions. Build on existing talent and make the necessary changes with non-performers. Attract and grow new talent
  • Enhance controls, approvals procedures and risks management in the Company (Gold audits, suppliers management, AR, AP…). Institutionalize the organization and its processes.
  • Lead the IT team and improve the IT services and contributions to the business • Manage all the tax aspects of the business
  • Build productive working relationships with the senior management team in KSA/Egypt, the shareholders, auditors and other key 3rd parties
  • Contribute constructively to business strategies and company’s development/growth.
  • Active participation to the development of a rigorous 3-year business plan. Coordinate all the financials for the short/long term business plans.
  • Participate in the negotiations of key contracts with suppliers and partners
  • Works closely with the internal audit functions and implement the required reviews of accounting and administrative controls
  • Coordinate the external audit and the information/materials needed for the external auditors
  • Report accurately and on time all the financial information needed by the Head Quarter in Riyadh
  • Maintain and develop strong productive relations with peers

Job Requirements

  • Proven leadership and management ability in the areas of strategic financial planning and organizational development
  • Ability to devise and implement strategic plans, staff development and the management of change
  • Ability to work on own initiative, prioritize work, handle pressure and has the edge to take yes/no day-to-day decisions for the best interests of the business
  • A doer. Not a talker. Proven ability to roll-up his sleeves as needed to make things happen
  • Ability to develop, monitor and maintain management information systems and procedures
  • Experience of financial responsibility for a budget, end of year accounts and external liaison with auditors
  • Strong in oral communication and in writing. Clear analytical thinking to produce simple clear financial reports. Capability to simplify and clarify complex business information
  • A strong leader with the proven track record of developing a strong team
  • Experience in manufacturing is a must
  • Experience with a blue chip multinational companies
  • English is a must
